Tickets

De vorige 30 edities deden we het zonder, maar vanaf dit jaar zal er een voorverkoop voor het festival georganiseerd worden. Tickets kan je online bestellen via de Pre-sale page op onze website. De voorverkoop start op 15 mei. Een dagticket kost € 15, voor een weekendticket betaal je € 25 ( telkens + reservatiekost).
Aan de kassa kosten de tickets € 25 per dag en € 35 voor de twee festivaldagen.

For the first time in the history of the festival, we will organise a pre-sale. Tickets can be purchased online via the Pre-sale page on our website. Pre-sale will start on the 15th of may. A one-day ticket will cost you € 15, for a weekendticket you'll pay € 25 (plus reservation costs).

Info

De infostand bevindt zich aan de ingang/uitgang van de festivalweide. Hier kan je terecht voor info over het festival maar ook over drugpreventie. Als je je portefeuille, sleutels of realiteitsbesef kwijt bent, kom je hier best een keertje langs. De infostand doet immers ook dienst als verzamelpunt voor verloren voorwerpen.

As always, the infobooth is located at the entrance of the festivalterrain. A few volunteers will be all yours with a drugprevention stall. When you’ve lost your wallet, carkeys or sense of reality, make sure to visit the infobooth, as it also functions as a Lost-and-Found.

La boutique infos se retrouve à l’entrée/sortie du terrain de festival. Vous pouvez vous y rendre pour des informations concernant le festival mais également concernant la prévention de la drogue. Quand vous avez perdu votre portefeuille, vos clefs ou le sens des réalités vous pouvez passer ici pour éventuellement les retrouver car la boutique infos sert également comme point de collecte pour les objets perdus et trouvés.

Camping

Vrijdagochtend 31 juli om 11 uur gaat onze camping open. Mensen die op donderdag al aankomen, zullen eerst een nachtje moeten doorbrengen op onze ‘wachtcamping’ en moeten vrijdag hun tentje verplaatsen naar de camping. Kamperen is helemaal gratis op Reggae Geel! Tenminste als je in bezit bent van een weekendticket(-bandje). Tentjes van meer dan 50 m² vinden we iets te groot om op onze campings te staan, houdt hier dus rekening mee! Als je met je wagen op de camping wil dan kan dit, maar dan kost je dit wel € 10 op vrijdag en € 5 op zaterdag. Aan de kampeerders vragen we om rekening te houden met elkaar en onze buren. Tussen 4 uur en 7 uur ’s ochtends verwachten we complete rust en stilte op al onze kampeerterreinen. Uit jullie boxen mag ook niet meer dan 300 Watt muziek geblazen worden! Open vuur is niet toegestaan op het kampeerterrein. Hou je blazing fire-mood dus maar voor tijdens de optredens. De mensen van de security-ploeg houden hiervoor een oogje in het zeil.

Our campingsite opens on Fridaymorning, 31st July, on 11 am. Those of you who arrive on Thursday will be led to a waitingsite nearby and will have to move on Fridaymorning. You won’t have to pay a penny for camping if you are in posession of a weekendticket. If you prefer sleeping next to your car instead of next to us, we ‘’l understand. That’s why you have the possiblilty to sleep on a camping site with car (“Camping met wagen”). This’ll cost you € 10 on friday and € 5 on saturday. We find tents or shelters bigger than 50m² to big for our campingplaces. Keep this in mind! We kindly ask you to respect the rest required by your fellow campers and neighbours. That’s why: No noise between 4 and 7 am. Your PA system may not produce over 300 Watt of positive vibes! Open fire is not allowed, so put your blazing fire-mood on hold while you’re on the campingsite... The nice boys and girls from security will keep an eye on that.

Notre camping ouvrera le 31 juillet à 11 heures du matin. Des personnes qui arrivent déjà le jeudi soir devront passer la nuit à notre ‘camping d’attente’ et pourront déménager leur tentes au camping le vendredi. Le camping est gratuit à Reggae Geel! Quand vous avez un ticket bien entendu. Attention: les tentes plus grandes que 50 m2 ne sont pas acceptées au camping. Si vous voulez garer votre voiture à côté de votre tente, il faudra payer un supplément de 7,50 euros. Nous demandons aux campeurs de se respecter mutuellement et également les voisins. Entre 4 et 7 heures du matin nous exigeons une silence totale sur les campings. le bruit maximal que vos baffles peuvent produire est 300 Watt. Le feu ouvert n’est pas admis sur le camping. Le personnel de sûreté veillera à ce que ces règles soient respectés.

Good Times

Het festival gaat dit jaar door op vrijdag 31 juli en zaterdag 1 augustus. De festivalterreinen bevinden zich aan de Zandstraat te Geel. Op vrijdag 31 juli mag je vanaf 18 uur je danspasjes delen met de rest van de wereld in de ‘Bounce Dancehall’ en in de ’18 inch Corner’. Het festivalterrein sluit om 3 uur. Zaterdag 1 augustus mag je al om 13 uur je demonen loslaten op ons grasveld. Dan is er ook nog een derde podium geopend, onze ‘Mainstage’. Om 4 uur is het onherroepelijk afgelopen, hoe sierlijk je steppas ook mogen zijn.

On Friday, 31st July, the gates will be opened at 18.00h. From then on you can enjoy our Bounce Dancehall, giving you the biggest and baddest dancehalltunes, and the one and only 18” corner, suplying you with the deepest basses known to dub and dubsteppas. Fridaynight the gates close at 03.00h. On Saturday, 1st August, you can shake what your mama gave you from 1 pm ‘till 4 am.

Cette année-ci le festival aura lieu le vendredi 31 juillet et le samedi 1 aout à la Zandstraat à Geel. Le vendredi 31 juillet à partir de 18 heures vous pouvez déjà commencer à bouger au ‘Bounce Dancehall’ et au ’18 inch Corner’. Le terrain de festival ferme à 3 heures du matin et rouvrera le samedi 1 aout à 13 heures ainsi que le terrain principal du festival où se trouve le ‘Main Stage’. Le festival sera terminé à 4 heures du matin.

Drinks

Als je de nood voelt om even je keel te smeren, rep je dan eerst naar een bonnenstand. De bonnenstanden bevinden zich rechts van de toog in de Bounce Dancehall en in het midden van de togen op het hoofdterrein. Reeds aangekochte bonnen zijn niet meer in te wisselen, hoe charmant je bedellachje ook mag zijn. Let wel: De drankbonnen van het festivalterrein zijn NIET geldig in het ‘One Love Ontbijtcafé’. Die hebben hun eigen drankbonnen! Iets om rekening mee te houden dus… Op onze drankkaart staan frisdranken, fruitsappen, bier (in- en uitheems), water, wijn, koffie en thingytails. Deze laatste zijn enkel op zaterdag te verkrijgen in de daarvoor voorziene en prachtig uitgedoste thingytailstand op het hoofdterrein. Genoeg geleuterd… “James, een Rastasafari, please!”

If you feel the urge to clear your throat then move yourself over to the Drinkvouchers stall before you start running for the bar. You can purchase these vouchers at the middle of the central bar (main terrain) or at the right hand side of the Dancehall tap. 30 minutes before the end of the festival, the vouchersale ends. The coupons which you’ve already purchased at that point can not be exchanged anymore, no matter how adorable your begging face is. Important: the vouchers from the main terrain can not be used at the One Love Café; they have their one coupons and vending point. Something to take into account, that is. We can offer you sodas, juices, beers, water, wine and thingytails. You can buy the thingytails at the colourfull thingytailstall on the main terrain. Enough talking already: James, one Rastasafari, please!

Si vous avez besoin de vous rincer la dalle, allez vite au stand de tickets. Ces stands se retrouvent droite du comptoir au Bounce Dancehall et sur le terrain principal ils sont situés au milieu des comptoirs. Une fois achetés les tickets ne peuvent pas être remboursés. Attention : pour le ‘One Love Ontbijtcafé’ (bistro à déjeuner) vous aurez besoin d’autres tickets. Avec les tickets vous pouvez acheter des boissons rafraichissantes, des jus de fruits, bière (belges et autres), de l’eau, du vin, du café et des cocktails. Ces derniers seront uniquement disponibles le samedi au cocktail stand sur le terrain principal. 

First Aid

Voor alle wondjes, groot of klein, zal het Rode Kruis er zijn. Hun tenten zijn opgeslagen naast de hoofdinkom op de festivalweide, steeds te herkennen aan het, euhm, rode kruis. Voor de zwaardere gevallen zal er steeds een dokter paraat zijn. Bij wonden die op den duur uw leven wel eens in gevaar zouden kunnen brengen raden wij aan het internationale noodnummer 112 te gebruiken.

As every year, the Red Cross will be present to keep your physical state in order. Their tents are located at the main entrance of the festival terrain and can be clearly recognised by the, euhm, red cross on the side. A doctor will be on site for the more serious injuries. In cases in which you loose more blood than you seem fit, we recommend you call the international emergencynumber 112.

La Croix Rouge est la pour vous soigner en cas de blessures graves ou moins graves. Leur tente est située à côté de l’entrée du terrain principal. Il suffit de regarder pour … eh bien … une croix rouge, quoi ! il y aura présent un médecin au cas ou. Quand vous êtes mortellement blessé nous vous conseillons d’appeler le numéro d’urgence international 112. 

Bancontact/Pinnen/Money Transfer

Een bancontact / pinautomaat vind je aan de inkom op de festivalweide. We vragen een minimumafname van € 20. Met buitenlandse betaalkaarten (met maestro) kunnen jullie ook aan onze automaat terecht!

Money terminals are located at the main entrance and are accessible from outside and inside the main terrain. A minimum amount of 20 Euros cash withdrawal is required. You can use your foreign bankcards with maestro-application!

Il y aura un Bancontact à l’entrée du terrain de festival. Le retrait minimum est de 20 euros. Il est également possible de  retirer de l’argent avec des cartes de crédit étrangères (Maestro).

Reggae Geel Shop

Ook dit jaar is er een campingwinkel aanwezig op het festival. Van brood tot beleg, van zakdoeken tot condooms, je hoeft het maar te vragen. De winkel bevindt zich aan de ingang van camping met wagen 1. In de Reggae Geel Shop wordt betaald met cash geld. Er is geen bancontact aanwezig.

This year there also will be a campingshop available on the camping site. Bread and butter, handkerchiefs and condoms, if you want it, just ask! The shop is located at the entrance of Camping With Car 1 (CW1). You will have to pay cash here, because there is no ATM available.

Comme chaque annéeil y aura un magasin de camping. Vous pourrez y acheter du pain et de la charcuterie, des mouchoirs et des préservatifs, et un tas d’autres choses. Le magasin se trouve à l’entrée du camping avec voiture n°1. Dans le Reggae Geel Shop on sait uniquement payer avec de l’argent comptant. Il n’y a pas de Bancontact.

One Love Cafe

Op de weg naar de festivalweide vind je ons ongeëvenaarde ‘One Love Café’. Als de briesende bassen van het hoofdterrein ook langs de binnenkant van je hoofd beginnen te dreunen, is dit de ideale locatie om even op adem te komen. Wees niet te verlegen om ook hier een danspasje te zetten want ook deze tent is voorzien van een lekker soundsystem met strictly good vibes. One Love Café-drankbonnen zijn verkrijgbaar naast de toog in het café. Let wel: Met drankbonnen van de festvalweide kan je hier NIET terecht! Hou hier dus rekening mee als je om een frisse pint verzoekt. Het ‘One Love Café’ doet op zaterdag- en zondagochtend ook dienst als ontbijttent. Op het menu staan broodjes, ontbijtkoeken, fruit, divers beleg, fruitsappen, chocomelk en voor de liefhebbers… en goei reep sjoklat! Op zaterdag kan je hier vanaf 7 uur terecht voor een lekker ontbijtje. Op zondag staat het ontbijt al klaar om 6 uur. Om 12 uur gaan de broden en het beleg wel terug de koelkast in! De ontbijtstand wordt uitgebaat door de locale scouts en een basisschool. Dit verklaart waarom hier met cash geld betaald moet worden. Geen nood als je het ontbijt gemist hebt! Naast het ‘One Love Café’ staan enkele enthousiastelingen ook lekkere hamburgers te maken om je lege maag te vullen.

On the road to the main terrain you will find our unique One Love Café. If the basses get into your head, we can’t think of a better place to cool down. Don’t by too shy to dance here as well, ‘cause there’s a One Love Soundsystem ready to blow you of your socks and into the morning. Strictly good vibes, master! Take a note: the vouchers from the main terrain can not be used in the Café! Take this into account when you order a nice pint of beer. One Love vouchers can be bought in the Café.?Mamma hungry? Pappa hungry? No problem, man. On Saturday and Sunday morning you can get your breakfast at the One Love Café. On Saturday The Breakfast Bar opens at 7 am, on Sunday you can quiet down your stomach at 6 am. At noon their will be no more supplies of bread and butter. So if you don’t want to graze upon our green, green meadow, you know where you’ve got to be. The Breakfast Bar is ran by the local school and boyscouts, which explains why you have to pay in cash here.

Sur la route vers le terrain de festival est situé l’incomparable ‘One Love Café’. L’endroit idéal pour se reposer quand les basses commencent à exploser dans votre tête. Mais si vous voulez quand-même continuer à danser, allez-y, ne vous gênez surtout pas, le sound system de service vous en sera très reconnaissant. Vous pourrez obtenir les tickets pour le ‘One Love Caf’ à côté du comptoir au café même. Attention : les tickets des terrains du festivals ne pourront pas être utilisés ici. Le samedi et le dimanche matin le ‘One Love Café’ servira également comme ‘bistro à déjeuner’. Vous pourrez y manger des petits pains, des couques, du fruit, de la charcuterie, des jus de fruits, du chocolat chaud et pour les amateurs : du bon chocolat. Le ‘bistro à déjeuner’ ouvrera à 7 heures le samedi et à 6 heures le dimanche et fermera à midi. Le ‘bistro à déjeuner’ est géré par les scouts locaux et une école primaire. Ils accepteront uniquement le liquide. Dans le cas où vous avez raté le p’tit déj’, ne paniquez pas, car à côté du ‘One Love Café’ vous aurez un grand choix de hamburgers excellents.

Kitchen

Zin in snelle hap of een diner exotique!? We hebben het allemaal! Voel je vrij om de geuren op te snuiven bij onze eetstanden. Op het gebied van eten is Reggae Geel ook een toonbeeld van diversiteit! Stoofvlees friet, spaghetti, kebab, fruit, poffertjes, jerk chicken, gebakken banaan, taco’s, Cambodjaanse noedels, rijstschotel met schaaldieren en nog véél meer staan op het menu! Let wel: De eetstanden worden uitgebaat door derden. Hier wordt dus betaald met cash geld. In samenspraak met de uitbaters probeert de organisatie van Reggae Geel een democratisch prijzenbeleid te hanteren.

Work of the munchies or dinner for two, no matter what you require, we can offer it. Feel free to inhale the sent of freshly cooked specialties at our Festival Kitchen site. Even in the food area, we are the definition of diversity: french fries or couscous ‘n banana, if it’s eatable you can find it here. We offer you the world on a plate. The food stalls are exploited by third parties, so you will have to pay in cash. Nevertheless, the organisation sees it as her responsability to maintain a democratic price policy. That is why we made an agreement with the vendors concerning reasonable prices.

Envie d’un snack ou un diner exotique ? Sans problème tout est possible ! A reggae Geel c’est la diversité qui règne, également au niveau de la bouffe : des carbonades à la  flamande, spaghetti, le kebab, du fruit, des beignets, jerk chicken, des bananes frites, des taco, des nouilles cambodgiennes, des plats de riz avec fruits de mer et beaucoup plus. Et tout ça pour des prix démocratiques! Le moyen de payement est l’euro en liquide. 

Reggae Market

Hou je zuurverdiende flappen maar binnen handbereik als je het standendorp betreedt. Handelaars van allerlei slag slaan hier tijdens de festivaluren hun tentjes op. Senegalese djembés, Caraïbische kralen, Pakistaanse oorbellen of Belgische bongs… wie zoekt, die vindt. Schrijf je dus maar in bij die cursus afpingelen! De ‘Reggae Market’ bevindt zich vlak aan de inkom op de festivalweide.

Hold on to your green bills, ladies and gentlemen, as you enter the realm of craftsmanship. Merchants from all over the world have come to our festival to offer their handmade pieces of art. Djembés from Senegal, Carribian jewels, Pakistanian pipes or Belgian bongs: he who searches, finds. Go browse the little stalls, smell the atmosphere and take it easy... You’ve got all weekend, haven’t you?

Au Reggae Market vous pouvez trouver des djembés africains, des perles de verre caraïbes, des boucle d’oreille Pakistanaises ou des bong belges …Qui cherche trouve. Le ‘reggae Market’ se trouvera just à côté de l’entrée du terrain principal.

Personen met een handicap / People with a disability

Mensen met een handicap zijn, net zoals iedereen, welkom op Reggae Geel. Als festival willen wij inspanningen doen om het bezoek voor personen met een handicap te vergemakkelijken. Er zijn aangepaste toiletten te vinden, door de grootte van het terrein is het podium erg goed zichtbaar en er wordt verharding voorzien zodat u zich vrij kan verplaatsen. Ook is er een speciale parking voorzien, dichtbij het festivalterrein. Assistentiehonden, die als dusdanig herkenbaar zijn, worden toegelaten op het festivalterrein. Met de steun van de Nationale Loterij en Intro.

People with a handicap are, just like everyone else, welcome to join the party at the Reggae Geel Festival. We, as organisation, want to do an extra effort to make your visit as easy going as possible. You can find special toilets on the terrain, visibility of the main stage is no problem due to the width of our site and there will be hard surface on strategic points, so you can move yourself freely. There is also a special parking place near the festival terrain. Dogs of assistance, which are recognizable, are allowed on the festival terrain as well. Supported by de Nationale Loterij and Intro.

Les organisateurs de Reggae Geel ont fait tout le nécessaire pour faciliter l’accès au festival pour les personnes handicapées. Il y a des toilettes adaptées, le podium est très visible de loin comme de près et on a prévu des durcissements du terrain afin que les personnes en chaise roulante pourront se déplacer librement. Il y a également un parking spécial, près du terrain de festival. Des chiens d’aveugle ou d’assistance qui sont identifiable en tant que tel seront admis sur les terrains du festival. Avec le soutien de la Loterie Nationale et Intro.

Forbidden

Camera’s, opname-apperatuur, glas, blik, zelf meegebrachte alcohol en huisdieren zullen van het festivalterrein worden geweerd! Uw schoonmoeder mag wel mee naar binnen… helaas. Omwille van de brandveiligheid is het verboden open vuur te maken. De security die present is op het terrein en de camping ziet hierop toe… en laat vuurtjes uitpissen nu nét één van hun hobby’s zijn. Ambulante handel in de omgeving van Reggae Geel is verboden tenzij voor standhouders die beschikken over een geldig contract met F.F.P. Drugs zijn verboden in België! De organisatie wil er verder op wijzen dat het roken van cannabis in het bijzijn van minderjarigen strafbaar is!

Camera’s, recording equipment, glass, cans and pets will not be allowed to enter with you. However, you can bring your mother in law, if you really want to that is.?Because of fire safety no open fire is allowed on the fesival terrains, also not on the camping site. The security who is present on both the sites will keep an eye on that. And just so you know: putting out fires accidently is one of their biggest hobbies.?The selling of goods isn’t allowed either, unless you’ve got a valid contract with the organisation.?Drugs are illegal in Belgium, as is smoking cannabis in the neighbourhood of minors.

Les caméras, appareils enregistreurs, du verre, des boîtes de conserves, votre stock privé d’ alcool, et les animaux familiers ! Vous pouvez cependant emmenez votre belle-mère … si ça vous plaît. Les feu ouverts sont interdits. Le personnel de sureté veillera à ce que cette règle soit respectée sur les terrains du festival comme au parking. Le commerce ambulant est interdite à Reggae Geel sauf pour des gérants de stands qui ont un contrat valable avec F.F.P. Les stupéfiants (illégaux) sont interdits en Belgique. L’organisation tient également à vous signaler que la consommation de Cannabis Sativa en présence de mineurs est punissable.
