Dub Forest: in a nutshell
- Two days of uninterrupted sound system experience among the majestic trees of our Dub Forest.
- Premium sound system selection, with a few exclusive bangers.
- A beautiful mix of legendary sounds and young (homegrown) talent.
- Every day, a different sound system builds walls of speakers & woofers, which, with unparalleled power, blast the deep basses of dub between the trees.
- On Friday, Kingstep Soundsystem sets up its power towers of sound for a supersonic experience. On Saturday, King Original Sound hauls no less than 2 truckloads of speakers from their home base in the UK. Delicious!

- Iration Steppas serve up their revolutionary beats as one of the most iconic reggae
& dub sound systems! These monuments in the British underground bass scene have
single-handedly shaped the sound of modern dub. They’re bringing Macky Banton on
board. Did you know he has chosen never to record an album? So, these sound system
sets are the only way to hear him in action. Be there! - Pura Vida Productionz drops in for an exclusive set. After a period of silence,
Puraman is ready to dive deep into the Hidden Last Arkives for a special showcase in
our Dub Forest. His The Last Ark Studio in Mare Altar has always been a melting pot
of creativity, where icons like Lee “Scratch” Perry, Ashanti Roy, The Congos, and Jah9
were happy to visit. - King Original breaks in with a crew that unites several generations of UK music.
They meld traditional reggae vibes with modern bass beats. King at the control, sonic
bliss for the masses! Brace yourself for a wild ride on soundwaves of consciousness.
