Sisters in Dub are more than selectors — they’re a movement.
An all-female sound system collective from Coventry, Danniella Dee, Cherelle Harding & DJ Kat The Katalyst each bring their own musical journey, from classical training and gospel to deep reggae roots and sound system heritage.
Born from the desire to create uplifting, culturally inspired nights in their hometown, Sisters in Dub burst onto the scene during Coventry’s City of Culture 2021 programme — and they’ve been on fire ever since. From their first clash victory at a local Dub & Roots session to sharing stages with icons like Beenie Man, Sister Nancy, and Bass Odyssey, their rise has been unstoppable.
Known for their infectious energy, carefully curated selections, live vocals and melodic instrumentation, Sisters in Dub keep the Jamaican sound system tradition alive — while opening space for new voices and new generations.
With performances at Boomtown, Dubquake, City Splash, Dubwise, Godiva Festival, and Hackney Reggae Festival, plus their participation in the first ever Channel One Academy in 2023, Sisters in Dub are widely seen as the future of sound system culture.
